Rasdhara began with a simple belief — that theatre can be more than a performance. It can be a space to explore, create, question, connect and bring people together. What started as a shared passion for theatre and storytelling has grown into a collective of people who contribute in different ways — from creative direction and performance to management, events, communication and everything that happens behind the scenes. We are a team of different personalities, talents and perspectives, united by the love of theatre and the desire to create meaningful work. For us, every rehearsal, every conversation and every performance is part of the journey. At Rasdhara, there is a place for those who want to perform, create, organise, communicate, learn or simply be part of something meaningful.
Every performance is a collective effort.
From creative direction and management to events, communication, organisation and performance, every member of Rasdhara contributes to the journey in their own way.
Together, we work to build a space where theatre, creativity and collaboration come together
My journey began in 2019 through community-based work with Association for Development, where I worked closely with young people and participated in grassroots initiatives around youth engagement, education and social awareness. Since 2022, theatre has been a central part of my journey, and I have worked extensively across street theatre, stage productions, workshops and community-based performances. I have performed in 1,800+ nukkad nataks and 50+ stage plays,
Hi, I’m Md Aamran a DU B.Com graduate working as a Banker and Data Analyst. For me, Rasdhara Theatre Society (RTS) is more than just a theatre group it’s a place where we explore the different emotions and roles that life brings to us. The word “Rasdhara” beautifully represents the flow of human emotions, which helps us grow personally, professionally, and connect better with the community. Regardless of whether you pursue acting as a career or not, Rasdhara gives you a space to experience, express, and understand every emotion.
I am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in B.A. Programme from Janki Devi Memorial College and am in my third year. I have been associated with Rasdhara Theatre Society (RTS) for the past two years. During this time, I have actively participated in and performed in several theatre plays as a member of the society.
I have good leadership and team-management skills and enjoy taking responsibility and working with a team. Along with my involvement in theatre, I continue to manage my academic studies, balancing both responsibilities effectively. My experience at RTS has helped me grow in confidence, teamwork, communication, and leadership.
