Rasdhara Theatre Society began with a simple belief: every young person has something to express, something to teach and something to learn. What started as a youth-led creative space gradually found its heart in theatre a way to explore society, share stories and bring people together.
Rasdhara is a youth-led theatre group that brings young people together through art, creativity and shared learning. We believe that everyone has something valuable to contribute, regardless of their experience, background or skills.
Our journey began with the idea of creating a space where young people could learn from one another, share their talents and explore different forms of creative expression. With time, theatre became the heart of Rasdhara.
Today, we see theatre as more than a performance. It is a way to find our voices, understand the world around us, question social realities and build meaningful connections with people and communities.
Emotion,
A flowing stream
Rasdhara was born from the idea that young people should have a space where they can learn from one another and grow through creativity. As our journey progressed, theatre naturally became our primary focus. It offered us a way to bring stories to life, explore human emotions and address issues that affect our society.
Rasdhara is about people, creativity and the possibilities that emerge when young people learn and create together.
We believe theatre has the power to do more than entertain. It can make people pause, question familiar ideas, understand different perspectives and start conversations that matter.
Through live performances and storytelling, complex social issues can become human experiences that people can relate to.
For us, theatre is also a journey of personal growth. It encourages confidence, communication, empathy, learning and creating together.
We use theatre not only to tell stories, but to create space for questions, understanding and change.
Rasdhara started with the idea of building a youth-led space for shared learning, creativity and expression.
Young people began coming together to share skills, explore their interests and participate in creative activities.
Theatre became the central medium through which we explored stories, expressed ideas and engaged with social issues.
Performances, community activities and awareness initiatives helped us connect creative expression with issues affecting everyday life.
We aim to strengthen our community engagement and build a broader creative platform where young people can learn, collaborate and contribute to positive social change.

A world where art becomes a meaningful force for social change; where young people find their voices, unheard stories find expression, and communities come together to build a more conscious, inclusive and compassionate society.
To use theatre and creative expression to encourage awareness, empower young people, nurture meaningful storytelling and create opportunities for communities to learn, participate and grow.
We believe education also happens through creativity, communication, expression and real-life experiences.
We want to encourage young people and communities to express themselves and engage with the issues that matter to them.
We believe art can connect people, challenge assumptions and open doors to positive change.
We aspire to make creative expression more accessible, welcoming people from different backgrounds and levels of experience.
We want theatre to be a living part of community life—not something experienced only inside auditoriums or on formal stages.
Through community engagement and collaboration, we aim to make art a bridge between awareness, learning and participation.
Because meaningful change begins when people have the space to understand, express and act together.
Rasdhara Theatre Society brings theatre, storytelling and performing arts beyond the stage to educate, create awareness and inspire social transformation.
