Rasdhara began with a simple belief that theatre can be more than a performance. It can be a space to explore, create, question, connect and bring people together. What started as a shared passion for theatre and storytelling has grown into a collective of people who contribute in different ways from creative direction and performance to management, events, communication and everything that happens behind the scenes. We are a team of different personalities, talents and perspectives, united by the love of theatre and the desire to create meaningful work. For us, every rehearsal, every conversation and every performance is part of the journey. At Rasdhara, there is a place for those who want to perform, create, organise, communicate, learn or simply be part of something meaningful.

I am Md Aamran, Co-Founder of Rasdhara Theatre Society (RTS) and an Analyst at DBS Bank. A B.Com graduate, I have a strong passion for theatre, writing, acting, communication, and creative storytelling. Alongside my professional career, I continue to pursue my interest in education and the performing arts. For me, theatre is not merely an art form; it is a way of life—a medium to understand people, express emotions, tell meaningful stories, and connect with society.
As the Co-Founder of Rasdhara Theatre Society, I am committed to building a platform that nurtures emerging talent, encourages creative expression, and uses theatre as a medium for social awareness and positive change. My contribution focuses on strengthening the organisation's vision, supporting creative initiatives, encouraging collaboration, and creating opportunities for individuals to discover their potential through the performing arts. I believe that every story deserves a voice and every artist deserves an opportunity to be heard. My long-term vision is to take RTS to greater heights, extending its impact beyond the stage and transforming creativity into purpose, performances into meaningful conversations, and collective efforts into lasting social change.
I am currently in my third year of B.A. Programme at Janki Devi Memorial College. I am also an NCC cadet. Before joining Rasdhara Theatre Society (RTS), I worked as a volunteer with AFD (Association for Development), where I got the opportunity to be involved in social work. I have always been interested in working with people, understanding their problems, and doing something meaningful for society. I believe everyone deserves to be heard and given a chance to express themselves freely.
I have been a part of Rasdhara Theatre Society for the past two years and have performed in more than 10 plays. Through theatre, I have had the chance to connect with people and raise awareness about social issues. Being a part of RTS has also helped me improve my confidence, communication, and teamwork skills. I want RTS to connect with more people, understand their problems, and work towards finding solutions. My vision is to make RTS a platform where young people can come forward, share their thoughts and problems openly, and feel that their voices matter. I want RTS to give young people the space and support they need to express themselves and bring positive change in society.
